I have been doing alot of thinking recently about two products out there that are launching as we speak.  One being Mike Dillards Elevation Group and the other Eben Pagans Self Made Wealth. I am a student of Dan Kennedy in my opinion the best Marketer in the business. I believe that both of these guys are also students of Dan.  The thing I see from an outsider is these guys are praying on people looking to hit it big with one shot, get rich schemers or even people in financial despair with hopes of making it on the other side. There sales copy predicts the end is near financially. But you can shelter your self by doing as they do. Follow the herd boys. Dan on the other hand teaches of prosperity.  He even goes to say that their is a ton of money out there people just have it parked right now. He TEACHES PROSPERITY.

affiliate marketers should be ashamed of what they are selling.  They are selling a spinned off version of forex trading schemes.  You are building huge groups of uneducated people to buy an inferior product. Plus by doing this you are building up a false demand for products and by doing so bringing the instability that these two yahoo's are promoting.

To the consumers buying this product. 

You may have even got these type of emails to they tell uneducated consumers we built this program that picks stocks and we have made millions.  Join are club and we will send you a winner every week.  These guys build huge lists thousand or even 100's of thousands of people and they say buy this stock.  What they dont tell you is they are already in the stock and by getting you mass consumers to buy into their crap you drive their stock price up. Then when they see they have peeked. They bet on the stock tanking, then they tell you to sell, you do and it makes THEM rich. You may be saying Dillard is saying dont buy stock its all the same game. Commodities, stock, everything. 

I'll choose Prosperity

Dan Kennedy on the other hand is a man who teaches people how to grow businesses.  He teaches people how to market better.  As he says in one of his books. Marketing is the only business. So if you are online looking for a way to make money or learn how to make it to the next pay check you will be more apt to find something working with people who teach prosperity over doom and gloom.

AT&T May be laughing their way to the Bank Verizon

Turns out that AT&T may not be to hurt by the

Verizon Iphone Marriage.

Turns out the big phone company may have been one step ahead of everyone just like they usually are.  In June AT&T raised its early cancellation fee from $175 to $325 with the 325 decreasing my $10 every month you stay in your contract.

According to a research by Hudson Square they estimate that AT&T could lose up to 4 million Iphone users.  That number would equate to hundreds of millions of dollars in cancellation fees. By my figures it could be 4-500 million bucks this year alone in early termination fees.  That is a half a billion dollars people.

AT&T may also be betting on all the fact that a lot of these iphons are tied into family plans where the person with the iphone in hand may not make the final decision on leaving AT&T for Verizon.

Either way at this time next year I dont think we will see the fall of the AT&T Powerhouse.

The Rumors are out about Verizons Iphone

What is the coolest thing you heard about Verizons Iphone?

At a press conference in New York City Verizon announces Apple’s iPhone 4 will be available on its network in early February. A 16GB model will cost $199.99 with a two-year contract and the 32GB model will sell for $299.99. Verizon customers will also be able to pre order the phones starting Feb 3rd.

When I started checking out the incredible hype of the new iphone 4 it just baffles my mind what these phones continue to improve on.  The coolest thing that I have heard is that the phone will use its 3g connection to become a Wifi hot spot for up to five devices.   There is no word on weather Verizon will charge extra for this convenience. Past history has been a no charge for tethering the Palm Pre Plus but a charge for Droid users. 

Everything else that I see about the phone is negative except the fact that people believe they are going to get an overall better customer service experience from Verizon.

Every time Apple releases an iPhone we get the same reaction: A bunch of clients foaming at the mouth asking for a Verizon version. Why? : Because AT&T service sucks. And I agree. It sucks. Quoting Giz alumnus Mark Wilson: "Having an iPhone with AT&T is like having a Ferrari in a big city. You never know what it is really capable of." And it's true. My experience with AT&T has been generally bad. Very bad voice quality and crappy data access in any city.

So the real lesson to be learned here is customer service at AT&T sucks, it still sucks and will continue to suck.  Here is what a few people say about their service.  If I was this business I would be embarrassed.

"I don't even need to read this or watch that. You say fuck ATT, I say "bully" and I concur! My payment terms just automatically reset themselves and hundreds of dollars in rollover minutes..GONE. The customer support lady says they don't keep records past 6 months, so the years and years of rollover time, she won't even try to track or recover. So yes. So totally yes"

"I just don't like the idea of CDMA. Other than that if Verizon can provide a better service more power to them"

 To wrap up the last complaint and it may just be the biggest is.  Verizon just launched its 4g network and the iphone will not be used on it.

Unfortunately, the iPhone 4 will only run on Verizon’s 3G CDMA network and not on its newly launched 4G LTE network.This was the biggest disappointment of the Verizon iPhone announcement, especially since upcoming Android devices like the HTC Thunderbolt and Motorola Droid Bionic will be running on the LTE superhighway in a few months. At CES last week I tested the HTC Thunderboldt on the Verizon LTE network and was blown away by the desktop-like speeds for loading Web pages. At today’s press event Apple said that including LTE in the iPhone 4 would have involved “design compromises” (probably in size and battery size) and would have taken longer before it was ready to launch. However, both Apple and Verizon stated that this is just the beginning of their partnership (Translation: Expect an LTE-capable iPhone in the future).

Marketing Mind Games

Did you know Marketing is a Mind Game?

Today I am going to talk about 4 things that the pros know about getting you to buy their product the four things are these:

Do you see her frustration?

1. What is their pain
2. How are you different then your competitiors
3. Show them how they can gain by using your product
4. By doing so you deliver to the subconscious mind. 

The subconscious mind is where all your decisions take place so you want to stir up in your prospect the pain that they may not even know until you bring it to their attention. There is nothing that we focus on more than to stay out of pain.  Ask questions and listen carefully to how your client answers them.

Once you have diagnosed their pain you need to tell them why you are different. 95% of all websites and marketing material starts out the same way. We are the industry leader of this.  Instead of saying what a million other people are saying, say something different like "We are the only provider of...."

Next you have to show proof.  Showing proof isnt done by just saying it.  Here is a good place to fill in with a handful of testimonials. Russel Brunson is one of the best guys I know at this.  The last marketing piece he sent me had a testimonial where there was a guy crying.  His product was saw awesome, it changed this guys life forever.  He got emotionally broken up.  It was awesome and it works.

Finally to deliver to the subconscious you need to fill the person with visual representation. Either through your words and expressing them visually so the client can picture it or with a picture itself.  The best way is through a video.  That is why you are seeing more and more marketers using video for their sales letter.  It goes directly where it needs to go... The subconscious mind.

Bridal Photographers

I have a small following on twitter so I would guarantee results at this time however there was about 10% more people who clicked on the These photographers are helping ebayers. Which tells me that even among my small amount of twitter followers there seems like there would be a viable option for pros to connect or NETWORK with Ebay business people.  After running the test I almost ran it again because I believe that I cold of gotten even a higher response of people connecting to the blog had I had the following headline. 

Photographers: Want to earn an additional stream of income in this untapped niche

What do you think would this have increased the click through rate even more? I bet it would have.  What I described above is what you call split testing.  Its when you run an exact campaign except you change one variable and you see if the change makes a difference in response.

Additional Income for Bridal Photographers

Another thing it did was open my mind to other forms of income that Photographers could tap into.  For example when I think pro photographer I mostly think wedding photographer.  What are some additional income streams you may not of thought of.  One could be getting a hold of Bridal shops and offering to take promotional pictures for their gown.  Want to add even more onto the subject?  Offer to make them a catalog that they can pass onto their customers.  Finally never forget to network.  For me doing this job for you please make sure to pass my name onto people interested in my service.

Key strategies that get you in the game today.

Today I want to talk about the way that the pros make money online or off for that matter. Lets face it the reason most people arent making money online is they are thinking average thoughts. What do I mean by that?

Are you just following the herd?

They are running with the herd they are being average.  They see what everyone else is doing and they think well if this guy is a internet marketer and is selling ways to increase followers then I should be too.  Well guess what people, what if I told you, that guy isnt making any money.  Now you are not making any money either.

This happens in business all the time not just online.  The auto industry is a great example. Wouldnt it have been great to see one company stand out and say we are still leading the way.  No one did.  You may say what about Ford, they didnt take the bail out money but they did exactly what I am talking about here. They made my point.  If Ford had stood up in the beginning and said we dont need the money I think they would of increased market share exponentially. Instead they did and still are grouping them selves with the big three. Not the alternative

Being the alternative is scary the reason most companies on and off do not do anything different is they are afraid they are going to flop. Wouldnt it be more refreshing to see a few of these things.

• My cousin lives in Hollywood and last year he put a post on his FB wall that said he was getting his car detailed while getting his taxes done in the same building.
• How about a tax service moving into a mall environment rather than a  main st one.
• Red box destroyed the movie industry, The owner is McDonalds.  They took down a whole industry just by thinking differently. 
• Another example is an oil lube service station that is pink and caters to women. 

You can also capitalize on Fads  We are for the most part out of the Bowl season right now but their was a huge market already for merchandise being sold this team against that.

• For example making T-shirts that pin a Badger boxing a Horned Frog.  Their was a small opportunity for premium pricing due to increased demand.
• You see it all the time during election times people are always saying and doing stupid stuff and people are capitalizing financially on it.
• Diets are normal and following the herd however what if you niched it down to diets that dont give you hear burn or a favorite of mine.--How to lose 5 lbs in a week.
